Whether you're building model traffic lights, or just want to have very clear indicator lights for your project, these big LED indicator lights do a magnificent job. Nicely visible in daylight, power efficient and because of the diffusor inside they offer a very uniform light distribution (the hi-bright LEDs inside are not distinguishable). They're available in Red, Yellow and Green.

An appropriate resistor for the LED is already included inside the housing, so just connect to a 12V DC power supply and you're ready to go. The green version will also light up nicely on just 5 volts. Connect the green version directly to a Phidget, Arduino or Raspberry without the need for a transistor.
