Because the probe is larger, it holds more internal electrolyte. This means it has a life expectancy almost twice as long as our Lab Grade probe. Its thick Delrin body is chemically inert and virtually indestructible. Unlike traditional pH probes that have a glass bulb at its tip, this probe has a flat sensing area. That means that you never have to worry about the glass breaking off into your liquid. And we didn’t even mention the 3/4″ NPT threaded body. This pH probe is designed for commercial or industrial pH monitoring applications where an integrated temperature sensor is not required.

The probe’s body is made of Delrin, a strong and highly chemical-resistant thermoplastic. A Teflon junction connects the pH probe to the outside world. The Teflon junction makes this probe ideal for wine production because tartrate crystals can not form on Teflon. The Teflon junction also makes this probe well-suited for highly corrosive environments. Unlike traditional pH probes with a glass bulb at its tip, this probe has a flat sensing area. That means that you never have to worry about the glass breaking off into your liquid.

Each probe comes with its own unique 12-digit serial number for tracking and traceability.
