Description:
Current Arduino boards have a different USB-Serial chip (Atmel) which makes the communication between the board and a computer a bit slower. This board was especially produced for those users of Arduino-compatible boards that need to have the USB-FTDI chipset on board. Design is based on the Arduino Duemilanova (produced in 2009).

This board is based on the ATmega328 chipset with 32 KB of memory (2 KB used by bootloader). It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the micro-controller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
