Description:
The L298N motor drive shield (14010) is a powerfull motor drive shield for your Arduino projects. It can power 2 DC motors (or 1 bipolar steppermotor!) with 2 Amps continuously (3 Amps peak) at 46 Volts, or 35 Volts using the onboard regulator.

The L298N provides 2 H-bridges for controlling 2 DC motors.

Feautures:
VM  : Motor Voltage – Modes:
  VEX : (External Voltage over VEX terminal and GND screws of motor drive shield)
  VIN : (Input Voltage from Arduino power supply)

VLO: L298N Logic voltage regulator – Modes:
  ON : VEX is connected to the onboard regulator. Max 35V on VEX.
  OFF : Regulator switched off. Max 46V on VEX.

VLC : Logic voltage control – Modes:
  ON : Arduino 5V is connected to the L298N logic voltage.
  OFF : Arduino 5V is disconnected from the L298N logic voltage.
