Description:
The IR Distance Adapter is designed to interface with the Sharp IR distance-sensors to an analog input on a PhidgetInterface board or to any analogue input of a microcontroller.

This board takes care of the Sharp sensor input signal and produces an analogue output signal between 0 and about 2.5 V which correspondents with the distance measure by the Sharp distance sensor.

Specifications:

- Please order your Phidgets (sensor) cable for connecting to a Interfacekit or VINT Hub
- Input Voltage: between 4.8V and 5.3V
- Power use Adapter board: 3 mA
- Type of sensor: ratiometric
