Description:
This IR distance sensor Kit includes the Sharp 2Y0A21 (IR Distance Sensor) and the Phidgets IR Distance sensor adapter. This makes it very easy to connect the Sharp sensor to the PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8- and SBC (1018, 1019, 1072, 1073) and the PhidgetTextLCD (1203). This Kit is also compatible with microcontrollers with analogue inputs, e.g. Arduino

The 2Y0A21 sensor measures distance to objects in the 10 cm to 80 cm range, creating an analogue voltage between 0 and 2.5 Volt.
