This heavy duty switch is a double break type, meaning you can switch two completely different circuits with it should you so desire. When the switch is up, the top two terminals are open and the bottom two are closed. When the switch is pressed, the top terminals close and the bottom terminals open. You can jumper both pins on one side together turn it into a single-pole double-throw switch.

This switch has a roller head, useful for triggering on moving parts that may contact the switch at unpredictable angles.
