Description: The MOT0100 measures acceleration in three axes. The most common use for an accelerometer is to measure the movement of an object, such as a person or robotic vehicle. It can also be used to determine direction and strength of acceleration, detect vibration, or used as a tilt sensor. This Phidget can connect to your computer with a USB cable, or using a VINT Hub.
Features:
- Measure up to ±8g (or 78.5 m/s²) in the x, y, and z-axis.
- Accurate timestamp for plotting or advanced calculations
- Connect via USB cable or through a VINT Hub

Maximum Phidget Cable Length
The maximum recommended length of the Phidget cable between this device and a VINT Hub depends on a few different factors. If the device has a icon printed on the enclosure, it means it's equipped with an improved filter which will increase the maximum cable length when connected to a VINT Hub with the same icon.
