The Distance Phidget accurately measures distances between 20mm and ~1.3 m. Use this Phidget to measure short distances or detecting objects passing by. This Phidget connects to your computer through a VINT Hub.

Remarks

Phidget has replaced the DST1000_0 and DST1001_0 sensors by this product, but when you would need these older types, please contact us!

Distance is measured using reflected infrared light and a time-of-flight calculation.
Retrieve data as often as every 30 milliseconds.
